Adeiledig Brag Pt. 1

Does neb yn hoffi sy'n gollwng enw. Rydych yn gwybod pwy Rwy'n siarad am. Y bobl hynny sydd am i chi wybod eu bod yn adnabod pobl eich bod yn ôl pob tebyg am wybod. Pan fyddaf yn meddwl "namedropper,"Mae un dyn sy'n dod yn syth i'r meddwl. Dim ond wedi cwrdd ag ef llond llaw o weithiau, ond bob tro yr ydym wedi siarad, hanner ein sgwrs yn cael ei gymryd i fyny gyda diferion enw digywilydd.

Mae'n gwybod nifer dda o "amser mawr" pobl, ac mae ganddo allu hurt i sleifio enwau hynny mewn unrhyw sgwrs. Dyma enghraifft. Rwy'n dweud, "Dyn Hey, faint o'r gloch yw hi?"Ei ateb: "O, it’s about noon. Reminds me of that time I played putt putt with Michael Jackson at noon in Paris.” Word?

onest, nid dim ond enwi sy'n gollwng sy'n ein irk er. Mae'n pobl sy'n Brag yn gyffredinol. Rydym yn cael blino o ddynion a dyfir clyw Brag am eu dyddiau pêl-droed yr ysgol yn uchel (mae'n amser i symud ymlaen, syr). We grow weary of our privileged friends that find some way to tweet about every exotic place they visit. Ac nid oes gennym lawer o amynedd i bobl sydd o fanylion i ni pob eitem ddrud maent yn eu prynu (oni bai eu bod rapwyr, wrth gwrs). Boed yn gudd sy'n frolio am bwy ydych yn gwybod, neu ddiedifar tynnu sylw at eich holl cyflawniadau, nid frolio dim ond yn oer.

Stop frolio

Yn syml, i Brag yw "siarad yn ymffrostgar." Ac mae pob un ohonom wedi bod yn euog ohono ar ryw adeg. Mae bob amser ennyn rôl llygad pan fydd pobl eraill yn ei wneud - felly pam ydyn ni'n dal i gymryd rhan mewn ein hunain?

Frolio digwydd pan fyddwch yn cael rhywbeth (neu wneud rhywbeth) mor anhygoel eich bod yn meddwl mae angen i bawb ei wybod am y peth. Ac nid yn unig y mae angen iddynt wybod am y peth, mae angen iddynt gydnabod pa mor wych ydych chi am gael (neu wneud) mae'n. Os ydym yn onest â ni ein hunain, rydym yn enwi galw heibio a Brag ostyngedig i'n ffrindiau oherwydd ein bod yn credu ei fod yn gwneud i ni edrych yn dda. A dyna'n union pam ei fod yn anghywir.

Nid yw'r broblem yw bod yr hyn yr ydych yn frolio am nad yw yn wych. Gallai fod yn. Y broblem yw nad yw'r nod terfynol mor fawr. Unrhyw beth ydych yn ei wneud er mwyn y gogoniant personol yw pechod.

Ysgrythur yn siarad yn eithaf cryf am y math hwn o sôn ymffrostgar. Un enghraifft yw mewn 1 Corinthiaid 4:7, y mae Paul yn gofyn, "Beth mae'n rhaid i chi nad oeddech yn ei dderbyn? Ac os ydych yn ei dderbyn, pam ydych chi'n ymffrostio fel pe na wnaethoch chi?"Mae wedi y bôn yn dweud, "Mae popeth sydd gennych a roddwyd i chi. Felly byddai pam eich bod Brag pan fydd yr holl wnaethoch yn derbyn rhodd?"

Pob gair ymffrostgar rydym draethu yn ergyd anelu'n uniongyrchol at ein Maker. Mae pob peth da yn dod o Fo, sy'n golygu y gall neb ohonom cymryd y clod ar ei gyfer. Mae'r holl ogoniant yn y Bydysawd yn perthyn i Dduw, ond rydym yn gyson yn ceisio cadw rhai ein hunain. Yn y byd academaidd, Gelwir cymryd y clod am waith rhywun arall yn llên-ladrad. Yn y byd go iawn, fe'i gelwir frolio.

Dechreuwch frolio

Wel, dyna yn setlo wedyn, dde? Peidiwch byth â, erioed Brag!

Nid wyf yn credu ei fod yn eithaf syml â hynny. Nid yn unig ydw i'n meddwl y dylech chi Brag weithiau, Rwy'n credu ei fod yr hyn yr ydych eu creu i wneud. Gadewch i mi egluro.

Cofiwch, wraidd frolio yn meddwl rhywbeth sydd gennych mor anhygoel bod angen i bawb wybod amdano. Mae'r rhai ohonom sydd wedi cael eu hadennill gan Iesu ddim yn rywbeth i Brag am - Duw ei hun. Os ydym yn gwybod Duw, dylem fod yn ei chwythu i ffwrdd felly ganddo Ef ein bod yn teimlo bod yn rhaid i gyhoeddi ei excellencies i eraill (1 Anifeiliaid anwes. 2:9). Mae'n rhy fawr i gadw i ni ein hunain. Jeremiah 9:23-24 symiau i fyny yn dda.

Dyma beth mae'r Arglwydd yn dweud:
"Gadewch nid y dyn doeth yn brolio am ei ddoethineb
neu'r dyn cryf ymffrostio o'i gryfder
neu y dyn cyfoethog ymffrostio o'i gyfoeth,
ond gadewch ef sy'n ymffrostio frolio am hyn:
ei fod yn deall ac yn gwybod i mi,
mai myfi yw yr Arglwydd, sy'n arfer caredigrwydd,
cyfiawnder a chyfiawnder ar y ddaear,
ar ei gyfer yn y rhain yr wyf yn ymhyfrydu,"
declares the Lord.

Os ydych yn gwybod Duw, Rwyf am i chi Brag. Ond pan fyddwch yn gwneud, don’t let it be in eich doethineb, neu eich strength, neu eich riches. Yn lle hynny, Brag am ei. Ymffrostio yn y ffaith eich bod yn gwybod y One gyda doethineb perffaith, cryfder hollalluog, a byth yn dod i ben cyfoeth o ras. Yn hytrach na defnyddio eich geiriau i gaffael eich enwogrwydd hun, yn eu defnyddio i ddangos ei.

Y Bydysawd yn debyg i achos arddangos ar gyfer ogoniant Duw. Roedd y Ddaear greu i ddangos ei nerth. Mae coed yn cael eu ffurfio i flaunt Ei harddwch. Anifeiliaid yn cael eu Crafted i bwyntio at ei fawredd. a ydych yn? Rydych yn cael eu hadeiladu i Brag ar Fo. Felly, os ydych yn gwneud gollwng enw, gadael iddo fod Ei.

Thanks Trip. This is a really good point. Our personal achievements compared to God’s never ending grace are worthless. Let’s starting bragging about our Lord and Savior!

    HEY TRIP!!!

I have something HUGE to share with you!! felly, I follow these two 18 year old Christians on YouTube, Instagram&Twitter and A MONTH and TWO DAYS ago, they said that they were told by God to leave NC and go to Los Angeles. They arrived yesterday!!!! GREATEST PART?!! They left NC with SIXTEEN dollars, a back pack and their faith and started WALKING!!! Along the way, they were given bikes, then food, shelter, rides &finances to help on their journey. And they didn’t even ask for it!!!!! People would just come up to them and give. Like they could see the spirit of God all over them!! They recorded vids on the way on YouTube and posted photos on Instagram and they keep us up to date on their twitter as well. Their YouTube hasn’t been updated in a week but they still have MARVELOUS testimonies shared on there from throughout the journey and they update their twitter and Instagram almost DAILY. Just wanted to spread this with you so that you could spread this great news of Faith. Maybe you can even get in contact with them and TRY THEIR SPIRITS. These men of God are legit. AMAZING TESTIMONIES. Lets spread the good news!

Yes as God’s children we are built to brag about His awesome power, caru, mercy and especially His grace. The Lord says, If any man boasts let Him boasts in the Lord. The word Swag means also to boast or brag which is a prideful thing to do when you make it all about you. When it comes to swag, the world sets the standard, they tell people whats the trend or what is cool or not. Being a Christian is not the most popular thing to be in society these days, but it surely is the most vital. As a Christian its perfect for us to have swag, the best swag, and thats a Godly Swagg which simply means to boast in the Lord God. In our walk, our talk, and through our music we boast and brag on the Lord Jesus Christ because through the cross we have become products of His Grace and it is our life’s mission to win more souls through the preaching of the Gospel of grace.

Absolutely agree with you! I never thought of being “hadeiladu i Brag” but you definitely convinced me. I very much enjoy reading your writing. Incredibly thought provoking but balanced with encouragement. Perfect mixture of the two!! Thanks for writing.

I stumbled upon this article and boy, do I feel encouraged. So much to ponder from these words. It’s both an encouragement and a need to examine oneself and motive. Glory be to God for giving you the gift to write this!!!

Great thought provoking read Mr. trip. Many can take this to heart, and now into practice. Keep using the gifts God has given you, which now includes being a pretty great writer, and continue to share the message with those giftsit is reaching more than you’ll ever know. I often do this; brag. It’s more a reflection of the pride we keep on top of our softened hearts. For some reason giving God the glory in front of non-believers can be difficult but only because of pride.
Recently I scored very high when I re-took the ASVAB. I was so excited because I knew God had helped me do it. His favor was what gave me that score and the knowledge He put in me helped me to truly understand mathematical equations I never could comprehend before. Yet when I got back to my unit I told everyone what I got with excitement but later I felt convicted because I knew I’d only told those I knew were believers that it was all God. The unbelievers I never told my testimony.
I do jail ministry on Sundays and it’s weird because when I’m in front of them I could care less if they think I’m a fanatic then when I’m at work I hardly ever bring up the name. Everyone knows I’m a Christian but none of them have any clue how He’s all that’s on my mind 24/7.
I’ll work on this. Diolch am Rhannu.

Remember the homeless Christians I told you guys about? They need help.. Any help would be great guys. God will provide but even Jesus couldn’t do works where there was no faith. Everyone in LA is turning their backs because of their lack of faith. Lets support the kingdom and give what we can. They also do music and the Spirit really speaks in their lyrics. Lets spread that as well! We do this for the kingdom y’all. E-bost livin4christ4lyfe@gmail.com .. Lets help the brethren. Love you all.

Powerful! You broke this down in simplicity. So much wisdom for a young man. I’m praying with and for you and your family. Your gifts will make room for you. Only do what God called you to do, you have the Oil, His Holy Spirit. Peace and prosperity to you (Shilom)!
