Tuwing ngayon at pagkatapos ay kukunin ko na makipag-usap sa isang tao na nagsasabing gusto nilang maging isang Kristiyano, ngunit tila sila na mag-isip ang oras ay hindi masyadong tama. Kapag humingi ako sa kanila kung bakit, sabihin nila sa akin ang tungkol sa lahat ng kanilang mga kasalanan, lahat ng kanilang mga shortcomings, at ang lahat ng messed up ng mga bagay na kanilang nagawa sa nakaraan. Hindi ko kailanman magtaltalan sa kanila tungkol sa kanilang mga kasalanan, ngunit gagawin ko uurong sa kanilang pagpapalagay.
Ang mga ito ay sa pag-aakala na ang kasalanan sa paanuman disqualifies iyo sa pagparito mo sa Kristo, kapag ang eksaktong kabaligtaran ay totoo. Sa isa sa aking mga paboritong quote, Charles Spurgeon urges sa amin upang ihinto ang pagtingin sa ating sarili, at upang simulan ang naghahanap kay Jesus. Sabi niya:
"Ang! Sabi mo, 'Hindi ko magsisi sapat.' Iyon ay naghahanap upang i-ang iyong sarili. 'Hindi ako naniniwala na sapat.' Iyon ay naghahanap upang i-ang iyong sarili. 'Ako ay masyadong kahiya-hiya.' Iyon ay naghahanap upang i-ang iyong sarili. 'Hindi ko ay maaaring matuklasan,'Sabi ng isa pa, 'Na mayroon akong anumang katuwiran.' Ito ay lubos na karapatan na sabihin na ikaw ay may hindi anumang katuwiran; ngunit ito ay lubos na mali upang tumingin para sa anumang. Ito ay, ‘Look unto me.’ God will have you turn your eye off yourself and look unto him.”
Katuwiran ay hindi kung ano ang kailangan namin upang lumapit kay Kristo; ito ay kung ano makuha namin kapag dumating kami sa Kristo. Sa krus, Kinuha ni Jesus ang kaparusahan na karapat-dapat namin para sa makasalanang buhay na tayo'y tumira. At nang kami ay ilagay ang aming pananampalataya sa Kanya, natanggap namin ang mga gantimpala para sa mga sakdal na buhay si Jesus ay nabuhay. Ay hindi na kahanga-hangang?
Ito ay tunay na kami ay hindi matuwid sapat, ngunit ang katuwiran kailangan namin ay matatagpuan sa Kanya. Hindi, hindi namin maaaring patawarin ang ating sarili, ngunit ang kapatawaran na kailangan namin ay matatagpuan sa Kanya. Hindi lamang namin ay maaaring magsimula sa aming mga buhay sa paglipas ng, ngunit ang bagong buhay na kailangan namin ay matatagpuan sa Kanya. Lahat ng kailangan namin ay matatagpuan sa Kristo! Kaya ano pa ang hinihintay mo? Tumingin sa Kanya ngayon.

I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he became Man so that he could receive our sins, sickness, diseases, sorrows, weaknesses and pain by faith. As a spirit of God, he could not have taken this curse upon himself because he was sinless. God poured out his wrath upon him when he had forsaken him at the cross. He took it all and died and went to hell for us! This is the LOVE of God! He paid our debt! And by his faith, he was raised up! THEREFORE, because He delivered me from the curse, because God so loved me, I declare that I AM the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD! No devil in hell will ever confuse me and tell me that I’m not good enough. No way! God SO LOVED THE WORLD that he GAVE his ONLY begotten SON, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH, but have EVERLASTING LIFE!
